SAIKOU MECHA Art Print

SAIKOU MECHA, from the MASKS series by Syarawi Studios.

Saikou means the highest, the very best. This is the pilot who earns the name. Blue visor down, unit 025 lit across it, a red rising sun burning behind, メカ in katakana. Heavy red, teal and grey armour, and a small shrine carved into the centre of the chest, something to pray to before the machine moves.

Designer's note: one of the rare MASKS where hand illustration and a real 3D mask meet in the same frame. The shrine panel is the heart of it, a quiet, sacred object buried in all that hardware. War machine on the outside, temple on the inside.
